LV BET Mobile App Reviewed
LV BET impressed us when we first reviewed the desktop version of their sports betting site. Despite being new to the field they brought innovation with them and they sit proudly on our recommended list next to household names like Betway, 888sport and William Hill. This time armed with just a portable deive, we take another look and rate the LV BET mobile experience. Will the newcomer continue to impress and overcome the challenges of a mobile device? Read our review to find out.
The needs of an online bettor change once we leave the comfort of our laptops or PC’s. Placing a bet on a 32” monitor is a world apart from tapping the screen of an iPhone on a packed tube travelling on the District line. So in this review we ask the questions you want answering. Is it easy to navigate? Is it easy to use? Can I watch live events? These questions and many more are dealt with below.
LV BET don’t currently offer a download app in either of the popular app stores for UK players. Instead, you use a special version of the LV BET mobile website that is automatically optimised for your device. However, don’t worry as you don’t need to type any details in to get the website up and running. At the top of this page you will see a QR code, just launch the camera app on your portable device and point it at the QR code and your device will ask if it should open the website, click yes and you’ll be taken to the mobile homepage. If you are an existing customer, just click “login“ at the top righthand corner or alternatively you can set up a new account from your mobile that only takes two minutes to complete.
Please note, even though there is no LV BET mobile app for UK customers in the Apple App Store and Google’s Play Store there are versions on third party websites that re-direct you to app stores. These point to Polish versions and are not suitable for use. If they do decide to release an app version in the future, our QR code will be amended to point to the app when released.
What Can I Find in the LV BET Sportsbook App
One section that the LV BET excels in is the sheer number of betting opportunities they provide, that is apart from some glaring omissions. You won’t be surprised that the top sports such as football, tennis, boxing, rugby league and rugby union are there as well as a huge number of obscure sports such as pool, surfing, Aussie rules and ski jumping. The e-Sports category is where they shine with betting available on match-ups on League of Legends, Counter-Strike, Kings of Glory and DOTA 2.
So now for the bad news, where is the horse racing and greyhound racing LV BET? Initially, I feared insanity had set in, I then blamed the computer and then the iPhone. Eventually, I spoke to customer services who confirmed that the first and third most popular betting markets in the UK are not available. Analogies of a pub without beer and a vegan chippy come to mind but we’ll leave it to you to decide if it is important to you or not.
App Design and Navigation
We are big fans of the design of the LV BET website. On a bigger screen such as a PC or a laptop the experience is great with every bit of screen estate used to great effect. LV Bet’s use of green and red arrows to show movements in the market is one of the standout features of the website so we were intrigued whether they would be able to replicate this for mobile devices.
LV BET has decided to use a web app rather than a downloadable app to enable their customers to use on their devices. This is fairly common with newer online sportsbooks and has both pros and cons. One of the pros is that the mobile version looks almost identical to that on a laptop, the website is adaptive so fits perfectly to your screen size, no matter what device you are using. It is quicker to get up and running as there are no downloads to complete and one of the biggest pluses is that it never needs updating. As regular users of betting apps, we know how frustrating it is to have to update an app to use it, especially if in a weak signal area.
A common gripe with web apps is that they can sometimes take longer to switch between markets and different sections. Downloadable apps are more likely to cache these pages to make loading almost instant. This didn’t prove to be the case with LV BET. Despite a few occasions when the web app failed to recognise pressing an option, generally it worked as expected and was surprisingly fast.
Another common complaint is that web apps often just shrink the desktop content, making the information hard to read and difficult to navigate. Once again LV Bet have managed to avoid this pitfall, producing a colourful but easy to read offering. Navigation is easy with the sports icon at the bottom of the screen bringing a list of markets. A live icon at the top of the screen takes you to in-play events.
- Betting App Navigation The most sought-after features offered by the operator are in full view once you’re on the extremely handy navigation menu.
- Football Bets on the App Football fans are well served with great coverage of football markets and betting options.
- Live Betting on Mobile The live beting platform looks and feels great, meaning you’ll always keep up to date on in-play action.
- Present Promotions See what bonuses they offer by checking out the promotions tab. Here are just two of the promotions on display.
- Ice Hockey Markets Ice Hockey is taken very seriously by this operator. They offer most of the biggest European amd North American events out there, including the NHL.
- Safe Mobile Transactions LV BET’s payment options include your standard international methods like PayPal and VISA.
Live Betting and Streaming
There is currently no live streaming of events either on the LV BET mobile website or the web app. You can, however, watch the action unfolding in real time on plenty of events on your portbale device. Like many other online sports betting sites, it depicts what is happening in the fixture by using a 2d overlay with ‘news’ flashes telling you when something happens.
Below the action you will find the most common in-play bets you are likely to make, with match result, double chance, next team to score and the goals markets being at the top of the list for football fixtures. At many online sites it is difficult to see why odds change so much during a game but the beauty of the LV BET app interface is that you see how on-field events affect the odds. If a player gets booked you will see markets react with red arrows showing on markets that have been reduced and green arrows on odds that have increased.
A great feature that would be easy to miss is how well LV BET bring statistical information to the punter. Just below the graphics of the event there are 6 grey icons. The first is the default view and shows the 2d view of the event. The second icon will bring you the current event stats, here you find possession, shots on target, dangerous attacks and more. The third icon will list all the major events so far in the event, here you will see bookings, scorers etc. The ‘H2H’ icon brings up the previous head-to-head meetings, the next icon brings up team news. The final icon shows the current league information. This prevents having to leave the web app to launch a browser to find out the information.
Bonus Offers for LV BET Sportsbook App Users
As you are using the same platform no matter which method you use to access LV BET sportsbook app that sadly means that there are no promotions that only target mobile users, but on the flip side it means all the current promotions on offer are available for your devices.
Sport fans are well catered for at LV BET and this starts with the welcome bonus which will give you up to £10.
Betslip and Minimum Bet
The betting slip is great at LV BET. You can happily click on as many selections as you want and unlike many online apps, the betslip doesn’t appear until you press on it. This sounds like a minor thing but the less going on when trying to place a multiple bet is better in our books.
With multiple selections made the betting slip defaults to placing singles and when the stake box is selected you can fast select £10, £20, £50 and £100 values quickly. This is a good touch but as a piece of feedback we would like to see an ability to select values for all the bets without having to complete each line. Switching between singles to multiple bets is easy, just clicking on the combi button with give accumulator options. The same is true for the system tab which shows system bets available.
The minimum bet at LV BET is 50p which is a bit on the high side for us. We much prefer the bookmaker to allow smaller bets so even with a small budget higher accumulator bets become available but 50p is not prohibitive.
Transactions & More
The number of different methods for funding your account is impressive for a new company. Debit cards from Visa and Mastercard are accepted as well as bank transfers via Trustly. Skrill, Neteller, Euteller and paysafecard are accepted as well as lesser known payment providers Sofort, iDeal and zimpler.

One big surprise was the lack of the cash-out facility during in-play betting. As this is often a useful tool when it looks like your bets are diving, we missed it and would like to see this facility here. Admittedly it did save us on a few times when we wobbled put was unable to do anything about it and the bet came through, but that’s not the point!
LV BET App: iOS & Android Requirements
An LV BET app download doesn’t currently exist in either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store as the full range of sport betting options can be accessed via their mobile website. The platform is based on HTML5 which provides an app like experience but while running in your browser and without the inconvenience of downloading and maintaining the app.
- Android Android OS 5.0 or later./span>
- iPhone and iPad iOS Version: iOS 9.0 or later.
As the LV BET mobile website is fully responsive it will automatically adjust to the best size to fit your mobile display. As anyone who tried using apps when the iPhone X was first released will tell you, a badly scaled app is worse than no app in some circumstances. Another advantage of using the web interface for sports betting is this will work on older devices so there may be life in that old Nokia yet, see the compatibility features of the UK’s offering of mobile sportsbooks for more details.
Final Remarks on the LV BET App
Initially we had misgivings about LV BET using their mobile website to offer sports betting rather than a dedicated app but these worries proved unfounded. Clever design means the full screen experience scales down nicely and is a joy to use, even on the smallest of displays.

- LV BET Mobile App Pros & Cons
- Swift customer service
- Broad spectrum of payment methods
- Readily identifiable icons
- The app’s remarkably loggical flow
- Not available in Google Play store
- Placing a bet could be quicker
Despite the lack of live streaming, in-play betting is done well and we especially liked the frequency of the odds changing which had a stock exchange feel to it but allowed us to spot trends without much thought. The list of markets is huge but due to the design you never feel overwhelmed. Quick navigation icons make finding your event easy. The variety of payment methods is above average and we always like to see newer payment processors included on a site, this gives customers choice and gains LV BET a few bonus points.
How you plan on betting could be the biggest negative with them due to the wagering requirements that the company imposes on the new customer offer and on the ongoing promotions. This requires you to stake much more than you receive in benefits. For loyal customers, this will not be an issue and a normal betting pattern will cover this requirement but a casual player could be at risk of not fulfilling these obligations. As with all offers, please take your time to understand the terms and conditions.
If we base the final verdict just on the customer experience then there is no doubt that LV BET sportsbook review confirms this is a winner. It is fast, user friendly, well designed and just a joy to use. They have successfully replicated a stunning desktop experience on a mobile betting platform, highly recommended.
