Ladbrokes Mobile Betting App Reviewed
Out of all the apps we have reviewed, the one from Ladbrokes had the fewest amount of touches required to place a bet. This may not sound like a big deal but if you are like us and only remember about a race about 30 secs before the “off” then this can be the difference between making a bet or not! The quick bet in which you can place a single in a matter of seconds is one of our favourite app features.

What Can I Find in the Ladbrokes App?
Here is a brief overview of the stand out attributes of the Ladbrokes mobile app. In order to provide you with the complete picture we took into account both their good and bad sides.
As soon as you launch the App you will see the familiar bright red and white colours which are associated with Ladbrokes, the loading time is fine but certainly not the fastest. It’s very easy to find matches and races that are due on soon as they are very prominent on the main page. The app itself was snappy and quick to respond to touches, there was no noticeable lag when moving between the different markets. The default when starting is the ‘next races’ which unsurprisingly shows upcoming race meetings. 3 tabs at the top of the screen allow you to switch to ‘highlights’ and ‘in-play’. Highlights has had some thought put into it as not only does it show any featured games or races but also some great accumulators that have been preselected. The ‘daily bet bundles’ was my favourite part of this section with ‘daily big price trebles’ and ‘daily big price four-folds’ available with just a couple of taps. Pressing the menu icon at the top left brought up lot’s of options and different sports with very easy access to popular bets.
As a footy fan I really liked ‘My Accas’ which enabled me to pick and mix selections and gave me the chance to save and store selections, this was really easy to use and something I will be using in the future. It was very easy to combine different selections to make a unique acca, bonus points to Ladbrokes for coming up with this feature.
- Betting App Navigation When you tap on the top-left button on the screen, the handy navigation menu will open. The highlights section shows the most popular events so choosing a big race or match is really simple.
- Football Bets on the App Check out the numerous football markets and bets at Ladbrokes’ mobile version. The spacing and big font make it very easy to select, even on a mobile.
- Live Betting on Mobile The Ladbrokes live console is also present on the app with its nice and useful graphics. You can see a football manager type interface where the game is displayed in real time.
- Present Promotions Check out the fantastic promotions at Ladbrokes on your mobile, including BOG.These will change from time to time so ensure you check back often to ensure you don’t miss any special offers.
- Horse Racing Markets All UK and Irish races can be found at both Ladbrokes’ desktop and mobile version.Selecting is easy, thanks to the handy bet button on the right hand side.
- Safe Mobile Transactions A sample of the mobile cashier. At Ladbrokes you can choose from multiple payment options. You can use the quick deposit button if the amount you wish to put into your account is shown.
Live Betting and Streaming
Live streaming to apps is still pretty much in it’s infancy and none of the bookmakers have as much live streaming sport as we would like (rights issues are the main reason). However, Ladbrokes come pretty close with over 30,000 sporting events streamed. They have a decent selection. As you would expect horse racing features very heavily but you also can find football from 11 different countries (don’t expect to see English Premier League but you will catch FA cup action), tennis, snooker, darts, basketball, volleyball and others. Overall a good solid selection and in-play is handled very well as well, making it quick and easy to place a bet whilst an event is running.
Ladbrokes App Bonuses
Whilst Ladbrokes doesn’t offer betting on mobile sportsbook users any additional incentives to open an account they do give a free bet of £30 if you use the code ‘G30’ when signing up and place a bet of £10. The bonus lasts for 7 days and must be wagered at odds of at least 1/2 which sounds fair enough to us. Although we like the £30 offer, we would have liked to see the offer not being a single bet, personally I like having silly bets with my bonuses but with it being just one bet I guess my money is on Arsenal rather than Altrincham to win the FA cup this year (sad face).
Betslip and Minimum Bet on the Ladbrokes App
10p is the minimum bet for mobile betting which is a nice and low amount and as I’ve mentioned before, I love my silly bets so this is right up my street. The quick bet function looks and works well and as soon as you make a selection a box with different amounts (£1, £2, £5 and £10) is displayed. This means in only 3 taps on the screen, you can choose and confirm. You can of course choose a different amount to bet by tapping on the stake box and manually entering a figure. If you are not using quick bet then your betting slip is an icon at the top right and is easy to locate and make amendments.
Transactions and More
Making a deposit is simple and straightforward and you will see an icon on the main screen – cunningly titled ‘deposit’. When you click on this icon it is very easy to add funds to your account. Credit and debit cards are supported as well as PayPal, Ukash and Neteller. It’s very easy to transfer money from sports to other supported Ladbrokes games such as Casino, Poker and Bingo. Some bookmakers have very limited deposit options on mobile (Paddy Power only allow credit and debit cards for example) but this is not the case with Ladbrokes. So a few bonus points to them for making it easy to top up our account.

Why Did We Decide to Award a “B”?
Ladbrokes have produced a very solid, reliable mobile application that makes it very easy to place a bet on your phone or tablet. We love that lots of deposit options are supported and as one of the world’s oldest bookmakers it is good to see they are moving with the times. Live streaming is above average but not best in class. All in all, whilst not the most exciting or inspiring app, it does what it needs to do. It’s lacking a killer feature to make it outstanding, but as it stands it comes highly recommended and a worthy addition to any punters app collection.

- Ladbrokes mobile app Highs and Lows
- Live chat available
- £30 Free Bet
- Live console
- Quick Bet – Just 3 Touches
- Quite bland interface
- No mobile bonus
One of the great things about this app that stands out from the competition is that live chat is available via the app, this is not the case with all the sports book operators, this gives us confidence that Ladbrokes take customer service very seriously.
A real stand out feature is the ability to place a bet with just 3 touches, this really does make a difference if you are in a rush to make a last minute bet. It also is really helpful if you are “out and about” and would like to make a bet on the move.

Questions and Answers About Ladbrokes Mobile App
Below you can find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the Ladbrokes mobile app.
What are the Ladbrokes mobile app bonus terms and conditions?
Most Free Bet tokens are valid for 7 days. To view the full details of your free bet, simply log on and go to your “My Account” section, and then click on the “Rewards” tab. Free bets pay the profit of the bet – Stakes not returned on winning bets. The ‘Potential Returns’ on the Bet Slip include the stake, so remember to take the stake money off when calculating your potential winnings. You have to use the full value of the free bet at once. For example, if you have a £10 bet, then you can only place a bet to this amount, you will not be able to split the money on two separate bets.
How to get the Ladbrokes mobile app on my iPhone or iPad?
In case you don’t want to use the Web-based application of Ladbrokes, you can opt for downloading the native app. The whole process is easier for Apple users, since the app is available for free download at the App Store but ensure you click here first to open an account before you download as it will make the process so much easier for you.
Ladbrokes mobile app download instructions for Android users
Those of you who are on Android will have a bit more work to do in order to install the app, due to the restrictions for gambling software that are applied in Google Play store. You will need to get the app from another website. Getjar is the most popular Android app supplier, but you will need to make some alterations on your device, before getting the betting app. You can of course use the mobile version by opening your browser, most people find this as good as the app. First, click here first to open an account before you download as it will make the process easier for you. Then all you need to do is open your security settings menu and tick the Unknown sources check box. This will enable the installation of mobile apps from sources different from Google Play. After you do that you need to be careful what you install, but we can guarantee that Ladbrokes mobile is completely harmless and safe.
The Ladbrokes mobile site is not working! Why?
The most common reason is that your wireless Internet connection may be lost. Can you open web pages? You won’t be able to reach any web-based application if you are off-line and the native app also won’t load as it needs an internet connection. Does your phone meet the minimum software requirements (see table above)? It could also be that at the moment there is an ongoing maintenance, so if everything else works I suggest that you try reloading the app later.
