This isn’t ideal as it is highly unlikely you will see a 100% success rate on your selections. However, by using our Union Jack Trixie betting calculator, you can see in real-time what impact a result will have on your returns.
What is a Union Jack Trixie Bet?
The Union Jack Trixie bet is a nine-selection bet on different sporting events. The selections are arranged on a 3 x 3 grid which forms bets when placed together. The nine selections combine into 8 Trixie bets ( a Trixie is 3 doubles and a treble). It may sound slightly complicated, but the easiest way to think of this bet is 32 bets which are split into 24 doubles and 8 trebles. The first selection you make on your betting slip would be selection A, the second would be selection B, and so forth with the ninth selection being selection I.
Only two correct selections are needed for a pay-out but depending on the odds, four winning selections are usually required to show a profit but using the Union Jack Trixie profit calculator can confirm this.
How to use the Union Jack Trixie Bet Calculator
The Union Jack Trixie betting calculator is useful as this type of bet has a degree of strategy when making selections, the order you make your selections will change the amount you will return. As the trebles interact each other, (horizontal ones go ABC, DEF, GHI, vertical ones go ADG, BEH, CFI and diagonal ones go AEI and CEG) it means some selection appear in more bets than others.
Therefore, the strategy you employ is up to you. For maximum returns, you could place your higher odds selections which equate to higher risk, in the prime position. Alternatively, you could play it safe by filling position E with a banker bet. Either way, the Union Jack Round Robin returns calculator can help you decide which choices to group depending on your preferences.

Eight trebles are involved in this bet, and some selections are contained in more than one treble. Therefore, you should make selections in these positions that you feel has the highest chance of success.
For the rows, treble one is made up of ABC, treble 2 is DEF, and treble 3 is GHI.
For the columns, treble one is made up of ADG, treble 2 is BEH, and treble 3 is CFI. There are two trebles on the diagonal; these are AEI and CEG.
Your 5th bet (selection E) on the betting slip should contain your banker as this is involved in four different trebles.
The 1st, 3rd, 7th and 9th selections (A, C, G and I) are the second most important bets as they feature in three trebles.
The 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th positions (B, D, F and H) are the least important of the selections as they are contained in just two trebles.
