Beat the Pundit — Competition Terms & Conditions

This is a free-to-enter, skill-based prediction competition. It does not constitute gambling, and no element of chance determines the outcome. Winners are determined solely by the points system set out below.

1. The Promoter. The promoter is iGaming.com Group GmbH, Glogauer Straße 2, 10999 Berlin, Germany, trading as BestBettingSites.co.uk (“the Promoter”).
2. Eligibility. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, except employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and anyone else professionally connected with the competition or with QuinnBet.
3. Free entry. Entry is free and no purchase, payment, deposit or bet is required at any stage. Registering with any bookmaker, including QuinnBet, is not required to enter and does not affect your chance of winning — however, if you win, redeeming the prize does require a QuinnBet account, as set out in Clause 8. Winning is determined solely by points scored against the published scoring system in Clause 6 — no deposit, stake, or bet of any kind affects your entry or chances of winning. QuinnBet is providing the prize only and is not the Promoter of this competition; QuinnBet has no responsibility for the administration, scoring, or operation of the competition. Any odds boost or promotion shown on this page is separate from this competition and has its own terms.
4. How to enter. Submit a score prediction for every fixture in the current gameweek, together with your name or username and a valid email address, and tick the required boxes, using the form on this page.
5. One entry per person per gameweek. Entries made by script, macro or any automated means, or on someone else’s behalf, will be disqualified.
6. Scoring. The points system is published in advance and applied objectively:
   • 5 points for the exact scoreline
   • 3 points for the correct winning margin (correct result and goal difference)
   • 1 point for the correct result
   • 0 points for everything else
7. The winner. There is one winner per gameweek: the valid entrant with the highest points total for that gameweek, provided that total beats the pundit’s. If entrants are tied, the tie is broken first by the most exact scores predicted, then by the earliest submitted entry. The winner will be determined automatically based on points and confirmed within 3 working days of the gameweek’s final fixture.
8. The prize. The prize is a free bet with QuinnBet of £30. The prize can only be awarded to winners who hold an existing QuinnBet account or who open a new QuinnBet account for this purpose (18+, QuinnBet’s own account terms and eligibility rules apply). Opening an account is only required to redeem the prize, not to enter the competition. There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable. If the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
9. Winner notification and data sharing with QuinnBet. The winner will be notified at the email address given on entry within 7 days of the draw. If you are the winner, your name and email address will be shared with QuinnBet for the sole purpose of prize fulfilment; this is separate from and does not constitute marketing, and QuinnBet will use this data only for that purpose. If a winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw and award the prize to another entrant.
10. Winner publicity. The Promoter will make the winner’s surname and county available on request to anyone who asks within one month of the closing date. If you object to this, contact [email protected] before or when you enter; the Promoter must nevertheless still provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required.
11. Data protection. Personal data submitted with an entry is processed to administer the competition (including sharing winner data with QuinnBet for prize fulfilment), and for marketing only where you have separately opted in, as described in our Privacy Policy. We retain your competition entry data for 30 days after the end of the relevant season, after which it is deleted unless you have opted in to marketing. Full details of how your data is used are in our Privacy Policy. Withdrawing consent before the closing date withdraws your entry.
12. Responsible gambling. This competition is free to enter and does not require any betting or gambling activity. Entrants must be 18 or over. If you or someone you know needs support with gambling, visit BeGambleAware.org.
13. Technical issues. The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not received because of technical failures, network problems or causes outside its reasonable control.
14. General. The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter may cancel, suspend or amend the competition where necessary due to circumstances outside its control; any changes will be published on this page.
15. Acceptance and governing law. By entering, you agree to these terms and conditions. The competition and these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
