Will West Ham increase United’s misery?

West Ham face Manchester United in the first match of the weekend at the London Stadium. Both teams have had a rough start to the season and both drew in their previous league fixture. The Premier League fixture schedulers haven’t been kind to West Ham, facing Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea already this season and a visit from Manchester United means it doesn’t get any easier. But they face a Manchester United side in disarray at the moment.
West ham have managed just four points in their last six matches after suffering four consecutive losses at the start of the season to Liverpool 4-0, Bournemouth 2-1, Arsenal 3-1 and 1-0 to Wolves. Their only win of the season came in a 3-1 triumph away to Everton after an impressive performance by Marko Arnautović and new signing Yarmolenko, who scored a brace. Equally impressive was their 0-0 draw with Chelsea, becoming the first team to take points off the 2016-17 Champions. West Ham also had an impressive midweek match, hammering Macclesfield Town 8-0 in the Carabao Cup.
Manchester United seem to be a club in turmoil at the moment with off-field but very public squabbles between Paul Pogba and his manager José Mourinho hitting the headlines. On the field the Red Devils opened their Premier League campaign with a win against Leicester City but fell further adrift with two consecutive losses against Brighton and Hove Albion 2-1 and a shocking 3-0 win against Tottenham. They bounced back with a Romelu Lukaku inspired brace at Turf Moor to win 2-0 and a spirted 2-1 win at Watford. They however go into this match after being humiliated by Championship side Derby County, who are managed Mourinho’s old boy Frank Lampard. United lost 8-7 on penalties after a 2-2 score line after 90 minutes.
West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini only has one win in the last six and will be looking for his first home win in this fixture.
West Ham top scorer Arnautovic is now fully fit after he limped off in their 3-1 win against Everton and missed out the weekend’s draw at home to Chelsea.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has stripped the assistant captaincy from Paul Pogba in a standoff between the two.
Matic and Rashford return to the Manchester United squad after serving bans for red cards.

Conclusion & Betting Tips
There can be little doubt that West Ham will fancy their chances against a Manchester United team that seem to be in a state of crisis at the moment. They welcome back Marko Arnautović who was sorely missed against Chelsea and he could have perhaps turned an unlikely draw into a win if he had been on the pitch.
Manchester United are already showing they are predictably unpredictable this season and a cautious bettor would keep them well away from an accumulator at the moment. It wouldn’t be unfeasible for them to turn on the style and win this one 4 0, but you could also easily see them losing this one with a whimper.
All things considered, we predict a narrow victory for West Ham. With that in mind, a West Ham or Draw double chance has good value. We also think that there won’t be many goals, so our tip will be under 2.5 goals. If you agree, get the best odds at 888sport.
