Bafetimbi Gomis is definitely the man in form for Swansea City, scoring for The Swans from the beginning of the season 4 goals in four matches. The 30-year-old French striker secured the points against Chelsea in the first round of the competition and scored once against Sunderland and once again against Manchester United. His goal against The Red Devils placed his team 4th in the table. Gomis’ performance is the key for Swansea’s league position but the question is whether he can continue producing this form till the end of the season.

Andre Ayew is the other player who impressed with his performance, becoming the second best Swansea goal-scorer, finding the net three times. Ex Marseille player has gelled well with his new teammates and he is now one of the key Swansea players.

Watford’s defensive tactics are well-organized, conceding only four goals from the beginning of the season. But things are different when we talk about attack. The Hornets scored just twice from the start and they did it against Everton in the first round. In their last three consecutive games they haven’t scored.

The newly promoted team showed in the first four games of the Premier League that their best strengths are stealing the ball from their opponent and their well-organized defense. On the other hand, The Swans are very strong in creating scoring chances and then finishing them off. So, it will be interesting for the neutral fans to see which playing style is more effective.

Team News

Quique Sanchez Flores still can’t use Uruguayan defender Miguel Britos who is suspended.

Lloyd Doyley suffers from a neck injury and won’t take part in the match.

The third problem for Watford manager is the absence of Swedish player Joel Ekstrand who won’t be in the squad due to a knee ligament injury.

Swansea manager Garry Monk doesn’t have any injury problems in his squad, so he can use his best players in the upcoming match.
