Leicester City’s great performance this season continued. In a dramatic match, The Foxes achieved a great victory against Aston Villa last Sunday. They turned things around, after being behind 0-2 twenty minutes before the final whistle. Now Leicester City are visiting Stoke in the 6th round of The Premiership and they are looking for their fourth league victory this season.

The Potters lost 2-0 to Arsenal in the north of London last weekend and they were lucky to go home only conceding two goals in the back of their net. Stoke’s performance was extremely poor. Theo Walcott hit the post twice, before scoring making it 1-0. Then Arsene Wenger’s players missed the target on several occasions. This was the third defeat for Stoke City from five matches. But what is more worrying for the manager is that the team’s performance is woefully poor for the most competitive league in the world.

If Stoke City keeps playing that way, The Potters future in The Premier League will be doubtful. With only two points from five games it’s imperative they earn new points or they will be involved in the battle for survival at the bottom of the league.

When defending on a set piece Stoke City struggle, Leicester are expected to take full advantage especially from their corners or dangerous free kicks. Furthermore, from all the goals scored by Leicester four are from headers.

Team News

Matty James is the only one to miss the match for Leicester as he suffers from ACL knee ligament injury. The team is playing well so far, so his absence won’t be crucial.

Glenn Johnson received an injury last week and he is expected to be replaced by P. Bardsley, who took part in the last Stoke match against Arsenal.

The FA extended the suspensions of Charlie Adam and Afellay Sothey so they can’t be included for this match.

Odemwingie and Ryan Shawcross are also sidelined. The Nigerian is suffering from a hamstring problem. Shawcross received a back injury.
