It seems like an easy victory for The Potters.

Aston Villa had a nightmare afternoon against Liverpool at Villa Park in the last round of The Premier League. The Lions conceded 6 in their net and now they will surely be lacking the needed confidence. Even Kolo Toure scored in their net, a player who is not famous for his goal-scoring skills… The Villains are lying in last place of The Premiership and are 8 points below the 17th spot. With 12 matches until the end of the season, Aston Villa will need a miracle in order to stay in the division.
On the other hand, in Stoke City’s previous Premier League match the Potters showed their best form. Mark Hughes’ players beat Bournemouth 3-1 at The Vitality Stadium. The Potters have collected 36 points and now are just 4 below 6th place, which would qualify them for The Europa League. Their new signing Gianelli Imbula is getting on with his new club and he managed to score against The Cherries.
Taking a look back in the previous meetings between these two teams, we can see that The Villains have won 2 of their last 3 visits to The Britannia Stadium. Remi Garde will be hoping his players win again.
Charlie Adam is suffering from a calf muscle strain. The Scottish midfielder has appeared on 17 occasions in The Premier League this season.
Marc Wilson is the other main omission for Stoke City. The defender is suffering from a knee injury and will be sidelined until April.
Jordan Ayew was sent off in Villa’s defeat to West Ham earlier this month. He will be sidelined through suspension.
Jack Grealish, Carlos Sanchez, Kozak, Adama Traore and Amavi are injured for Aston Villa. Libor Kozak will be fit within a couple of weeks.

Mark Hughes (Stoke City) : “Arnautovic is an intelligent boy and he knows what we can give him.”
