Venue: The Old Trafford

Home form: WDLDD
Away form: LWWLL
Last season: 0-1
Competition: The Premier League

It’s obvious that Manchester United have serious problems in attack. The team failed to score against Manchester City at home. Then there was the same scenario against Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace. The Red Devils have even been eliminated from The Capital One Cup, which goes to show there is a crisis in Louis van Gaal’s squad.

This is the right time for United to find a way out of the crisis against West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford. The Red Devils are just 4 points behind the leaders Manchester City and Arsenal; a victory vs. West Brom will keep them close enough to the top of the standings. In addition, Manchester United haven’t recorded a single defeat at home.

West Bromwich Albion are playing well away from home. The Baggies have won three of their last five Premiership games with a final score of 1-0. Salomon Rondon proved he is in great form scoring two goals in the team’s last two games.

Team News

English goalkeeper, Ben Foster, who is an ex Manchester United player is expected to return to full training in January.

Louis van Gaal still can’t find an equivalent replacement for his injured left back – Luke Shaw, who broke his leg against PSV in The Champions League.

The Dutchman, Memphis Depay, is suffering from an injury and can’t take part in the match. However, Mata and Martial are playing well on the flanks.

James Wilson received an injury against Middlesbrough in The Capital One Cup, so the youngster can’t be included in the squad.
