One of the most anticipated games of the English top-flight football calendar, Manchester United entertain Chelsea this Sunday. Both clubs played tough mid-week matches in the Champions League, against Spanish opposition, ending in a draw. Very symmetrical indeed. How will these teams fair against one another in the Premier League this weekend, will the mid-week tiredness have an effect on attacking flair, or will this be a goal fest? One thing is for sure, you don’t want to miss this one!
Chelsea performed remarkably to fend off the late advances of a world class Barcelona side to secure a foothold going into the away leg of the Champions League quarter final. However, the Chelsea squad have been under performing domestically, and Antonio Conte is starting to feel the pressure from the club’s hierarchy after several disappointing results in the Premier League. Chelsea will be looking to star-men Eden Hazard and Willian as catalysts for in their second fiendish fixture of the week. If Chelsea can repeat the performance last time they played United in the league, then this will be a comfortable win for Conte’s men.
Manchester United luckily escaped losing mid-week against an in-form Sevilla. David De Gea had to come to the rescue, after making several key saves during the course of the game, he made a world class stop right before the final whistle to ensure the tie remains very much in the favour of Manchester United. After successive away fixtures the Reds will feel good to be playing on their home patch again. This game will have a massive impact on the race for the top-four finish, after their disappointing 1-0 defeat away at Newcastle, Mourinho will be looking to return to winning ways and push the cause of Manchester United.
Phil Jones didn’t travel with the squad for Wednesday’s Champions League match and is unlikely to be fit for this.
There are a number of players at risk of not being fit for this one. Valencia, Rojo, Pogba, Herrera, and Rashford are all a doubt for the match.
David Luiz, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Ross Barkley are all sidelined recovering from injuries.
Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is set to make his return to the squad and will be available for selection once again.

Conclusion & Betting Tips
This game is incredibly tough to call. The inclination for most tipsters will be to bet against goals i.e. Under 2.5 goals. However, we feel like the mid-week performance of Chelsea and the motivation and passion of Conte could see Chelsea nick this one in a cagey affair.
With that in mind, we fancy combining the Chelsea win with under 2.5 goals, which you can get for a decent price at BetVictor.
