The title race goes to the final match

|Last Meeting:||Liverpool 5 – 1 Arsenal|
The match of the day is the Saturday afternoon clash at Anfield as Liverpool entertain Arsenal. In what looks set to be one of the most exciting fixtures in the new season, it’s 1st versus 2nd place, with both sides winning both games in the league this season.
Liverpool will be full of confidence going into this one. The last three games at Anfield against Arsenal ending in huge victories for Liverpool. Juergen Klopp will have no reason to expect less of his men on Saturday, as they have started the season off superbly. Picking right up where they left off after winning the Champions League, and comfortably dispatching Norwich at home, they don’t appear to be slowing down and have retained basically the same squad from the last campaign.
Arsenal fans for the first time in a while will be looking at this game with a sense of quiet confidence. It is never wise to travel to Anfield and be too optimistic about your chances, but this Arsenal squad is the strongest we have seen since they moved to the Emirates. The attack of Arsenal is without question on the same level as Man City and Liverpool, and with new talent and signings in their midfield and defence, the team looks formidable and well balanced. They comfortably beat Newcastle in the first game of the season away from home and hacked out a home victory against a physical Burnley side. With new signings Pepe and Luiz expected to make starts, this could be their best chance in a long time to cause an upset at Anfield.
This is sure to be an epic battle between to very attacking sides who can be free-scoring on their best days. This game certainly has goals written all over it, but with Liverpool’s strong defence built around Virgil van Dijk, it could be a lot tougher for the Arsenal forwards to find scoring opportunities than in previous fixtures.
The new signings Luiz and Pepe are both expected to make starts.
New signing Kieran Tierney is still nursing an injury and remains unavailable.
Liverpool are fully fit and will be making no changes from last week.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is back from injury and available for selection against his old club.
