Crystal Palace are on a nightmare run in The Premier League. The Eagles have lost 9 of their last 13 matches and are now just 6 points above the relegation line. The last time they recorded a victory in The Premiership was on 19th December 2015, when they beat Stoke City 2-1 at The Britannia Stadium. Since then, The Eagles have failed to score in 6 of 14 matches. And they have conceded 2 or more goals in 8 of these games.
To continue; Norwich City have recently put on display a really good performance and the club took a big step in the battle to stay in The Premier League. The Canaries beat their main opponents – Newcastle United (3-2) at Carrow Road last weekend and maintained their good form. If Norwich take the three points against The Eagles, The Canaries will surely secure their place in The Premiership for next season.
But, Crystal Palace have won 12 of 24 games against Norwich City at Selhurst Park, while The Canaries have recorded only 6 away victories. However, The Eagles have paid more attention to their performance in The FA Cup, so Norwich City can take advantage of this.
Alexander Tettey is the only injured player in Norwich City’s squad. The Norwegian international is suffering from an ankle injury.
Emmanuel Adebayor has recently received an injury. The forward has scored 1 goal in 7 league matches for Crystal Palace this season.
The situation is getting worse for Crystal Palace, because their best player Yohan Cabaye received an injury two weeks ago. He will be sidelined for the upcoming match.
The other main omissions for Crystal Palace are Marouane Chamakh and James McArthur. Both are out until the end of the season.
Quotes of the week
