Kick-off: Saturday, 3pm
Venue: Stamford Bridge
Coverage: Sky Sports 1, BBC 5 Live
Home form: WWDDW
Away form: WWDLW
Last season: 1-0
Competition: The Premier League

Chelsea have made a great improvement since Guus Hiddink became their new manager. The Blues had no difficulties against Scunthorpe in the third round of The FA Cup and won 2-0. Now, Chelsea have a more difficult task, but they are playing much better and the expectations are that The Blues will beat Everton at Stamford Bridge.

The Toffees proceeded to the fourth round of the oldest tournament in the world, beating Dagenham & Redbridge 2-0 at Goodison Park. Everton are lying in 11th position in the standings, but their performance away from home isn’t that bad. They have recorded 3 victories and 5 draws, which goes to show Everton hardly lose when visiting.

Everton deservedly beat Chelsea 3-1 four months ago. We all remember the great Naismith performance against The Blues. The Scottish international scored a hat-trick after coming off the bench in the 9th minute of the game. In addition, Naismith has scored at least once in the last 3 Everton home games against Chelsea. So, it is very likely the attacker will put in an appearance on the pitch.

Team News

Eden Hazard has still not recovered from his groin strain injury. The Belgian winger will have to wait a little longer to resume full training.

Gary Cahill has recently recovered from his injury. The defender was suffering from an ankle injury and now can be selected again by Guus Hiddink.

The 25-year-old James McCarthy of Everton is going to miss the game against Chelsea. He is suffering from a groin strain injury.

Oviedo, Browning, Pienaar and Tony Hibbert are also unavailable for Everton. They have missed almost all this season for The Toffees.
