Kick-off: Saturday, 3pm
Venue: Stamford Bridge
Coverage: Sky Sports 1, BBC 5 Live
Home form: LLDWW
Away form: LLWLL
Last season: 3-0
Competition: The Premier League

Portuguese manager Mourinho won’t give up from his position as Chelsea’s head coach; he will try to bring his team back into the battle for The Premiership title, despite him saying that his team is too far away from the the top spot. The home match against Aston Villa is an ideal time to win an easy 3 points. The Villains have picked up only 4 points from the beginning of the season; they have lost in 4 consecutive Premier League games.

We all remember how “The Special one” made “impossible” things happen, winning The Champions League with Porto in the 2003/2004 season. So being 10 points away from first place in the standings isn’t the biggest challenge of Mourinho’s career.

On the other hand, Aston Villa’s future doesn’t look so bright. The Birmingham team have collected only 4 points, as I already mentioned, and surely will once again be involved in a relegation battle at the end of the season. Villa are 4 points away from 17th place which ensures their survival in the league.

Team News

No changes in Aston Villa’s injury list: Adama Traore (ankle injury), Agbonlahor (calf injury), Gardner (ankle injury) and Okore (knee injury).

The striker Diego Costa is going to return to Chelsea’s starting eleven after being suspended for three games.

Thibaut Courtois is the only one to miss the game for The Londoners. The Belgian goalkeeper is suffering from a knee injury.

In-form Rudy Gestede who is Aston Villa’s top goal-scorer so far this season with 3 goals will lead the team’s attack at Stamford Bridge.
