No hope for The Villains…

Aston Villa lost 4 consecutive Premier League matches, conceding 15 goals! The Villains have the worst defence in The Premiership. They have conceded 55 goals in 29 games. Even though, Aston Villa kept a clean sheet in the first half of the game against Manchester City last weekend, The Lions’ defence totally ‘disintegrated’ after the break and The Citizens scored 4 goals before the 66th minute of the match.
Furthermore, Tottenham Hotspur are just 5 points below the top spot and Spurs will fight for the three points until the final whistle. The last time Mauricio Pochettino’s players won a Premier League game was at the end of February when Spurs beat Swansea 2-1 at White Hart Lane. Maybe the only mistake Tottenham’s manager made was not to concentrate on only one tournament. This could cost them the dreamed of; Premier League title.
Tottenham Hotspur have won 10 of the last 12 matches against Aston Villa. In addition, Spurs have recorded 4 consecutive victories at Villa Park. Moreover, Pochettino’s players scored at least two goals in these matches. Tottenham won the first game of the season between these two teams at White Hart Lane (3-1).
Remi Garde has a very difficult task to motivate Aston Villa’s players, who seem to lack confidence after their recent performance.
Jack Grealish, Carlos Sanchez, Adama Traore and Jordan Amavi are still injured for The Villains. Grealish is suffering from an ankle injury.
Clinton N’Jie is still not recovered from his knee injury. The Cameroonian midfielder is expected to resume full training in April.
Mauricio Pochettino will probably make several changes in his starting eleven, because his team has to play against Borussia Dortmund in The Europa League.
