Competition: The Premier League

Both, Arsenal and Tottenham continued with their great performance in The Premier League. The Gunners smashed Swansea City 3-0 at The Liberty Stadium and are now sharing first place with Manchester City. In the first half Arsenal couldn’t find a way through The Swans defence, but The Gunners were completely transformed after the break. In the 49th minute Oezil took a corner kick and Giroud managed to find the net with a header and scored goal number 2,000 for Arsenal under the guidance of Arsene Wenger. Then Koscielny and Campbell scored to secure the victory for their team.

On the other hand, Tottenham didn’t have any problems against Aston Villa on Monday and recorded a comfortable 3-1 victory at White Hart Lane. Spurs haven’t lost a single Premiership game for 10 matches. Their only defeat this season was on the opening day, when they lost 0-1 to Manchester United.

This fixture is maybe one of the most unpredictable matches in The Premier League. In the history of the games between these two teams there has been 68 wins for Arsenal, 44 draws and 51 Tottenham victories.
