Everton played sensationally against Crystal Palace on Monday, but earned just one point, after finishing 1-1. The Toffees showed off their good attacking style, but were denied by the woodwork (twice). A misunderstanding in their defence allowed Scott Dann to score with a header, but eventually Lukaku found the net and the final score was 1-1.

The Canaries are having serious problems in defence and I don’t think they can keep Everton’s attackers quiet, especially Romelu Lukaku, who has scored 11 goals in 15 matches and is the second best goal-scorer in the Premier League. In addition, Ross Barkley, who is in really good shape has scored 6 goals and has recorded 5 assists.

Norwich are playing well at home, but the team has kept just one clean sheet in 7 matches. Furthermore, The Canaries are just too close to the relegation zone and it won’t be a surprise if at the end of the 16th round they went down to 19th place in the standings. Norwich have conceded 27 goals in 15 games, which means 1,8 per match on average.

Team News

Alex Neil can be happy, because there are no injured or suspended players in The Canaries’ squad. So, he can play his best.

Leighton Baines appeared for the first time this season against Palace and played 28 minutes. Now, the Everton captain can start the match.

James McCarthy has received a hip injury. The Irish international has taken part in 14 Premiership matches so far.

Hibbert, Browning, Pienaar and Jagielka are the other main omissions for Everton. I’m wondering if Pienaar will ever play again for The Toffees?
