A tough match for Man City.

|Competition:||The Premier League|
Even though Manchester City won against Bournemouth 4-0 at The Vitality Stadium a week ago, The Citizens still need an improvement in their performance. They must fight for their place in The Top 4 until the very last game of the competition, because their main opponents Manchester United and West Ham are too close to them in the standings.
West Bromwich Albion have maintained their position in The Premier League, having won 40 points in 31 matches. The Baggies have a really impressive defence. They have kept a clean sheet on 11 occasions this season. In addition, they have conceded only 37 goals. But, West Brom’s main problems are in attack. Tony Pulis’ lads have found the net on only 30 occasions.
Manchester City usually win the games against West Brom at The Etihad Stadium. The Citizens have recorded 36 victories in 60 matches, while The Baggies have won only 16 matches. But, the most impressive fact for Manchester City is that Manuel Pellegrini’s players have recorded 8 consecutive victories over The Baggies, having scored 22 goals! The Citizens found the West Brom net on 15 occasions in the last 5 games between these two teams.
Manchester City’s captain – Vincent Kompany is still injured. The centre back is expected to resume full training within a couple of weeks.
Yaya Toure is another key player for The Citizens, who can’t take part in the match against The Baggies. The Ivorian is suffering from a heel injury.
Raheem Sterling is also sidelined for Manchester City. The Englishman could even miss all the matches until the end of the season.
James Morrison and Chris Brunt are injured for West Bromwich Albion. Brunt is out with a season-long knee injury and will even miss the Euro 2016.
