Game details

. .

Kick-off: Sunday, 4:15pm
Venue: The King Power Stadium
Coverage: Sky Sports 1, BBC 5 Live
Home form: DWWWW
Away form: LWDWL
Last season: 2-0
Competition: The Premier League

Jamie Vardy has scored 22 and has assisted in 6 of 59 Leicester City goals in The Premier League. The forward has been the first to score in 13 of the Foxes games this season. That’s why he is the key player for Claudio Ranieri. But, the forward was sent off against West Ham last Saturday. Vardy was shown a second yellow card for diving, but the situation was quite controversial. However, Leonardo Ulloa will have to step in for Vardy in the starting eleven. The Argentinian has scored 4 goals this season, but all of them were priceless for The Foxes.

Leicester City are getting closer to the title. The Foxes have collected 73 points, 5 more than 2nd-placed Tottenham Hotspur. With 4 matches until the end of the season, Claudio Ranieri’s players will have to take 8 points to be absolutely sure of winning the league. But, this is only if Tottenham win all their remaining matches this season.

I’m sure the game against Swansea City will be the easiest one for The Foxes, because in the last 3 rounds they’ll have to play against Manchester United (away), Everton (home) and Chelsea (away). So, Leicester City can’t afford to lose points to The Swans!

Team News

All Swansea City’s players are fit again. So, Francesco Guidolin can rely on his best in the game against Leicester City.

Claudio Ranieri will have to make one change in his starting eleven. As I said Vardy is going to miss the match through suspension. So, Ulloa is in instead of Vardy.

Gokhan Inler, who rarely sees his name in Leicester City’s starting eleven, will surely sit on the bench for The Foxes. The last time the Swiss was selected was a month ago.

Matty James is the only injured player in Leicester City’s squad. It’s clear that Ranieri won’t risk him until the end of the season.
