Competition: The Premier League

Bournemouth have proved they are a really classy team. The Cherries won 2-1 against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. They were 1-0 down after 27 minutes, but they had a great team spirit and managed to turn things around and win 2-1. Marc Pugh scored with a great shot from outside the box and equalized in the 34th minute. Then, in the second half, Benik Afobe scored his 3rd goal in 4 games for The Cherries.

Eddie Howe’s players are now lying in 15th position of the standings after 28 points collected and they are even more confident after their recent good results. They took advantage of the poor results of their main opponents in the relegation battle – Sunderland and Norwich lost their matches, while Swansea couldn’t win against West Brom.

On the other hand, Arsenal are obligated to win the game if The Gunners still want to fight for the title in The Premier League. They were denied by Fraser Forster’s great saves for Southampton in the last round, finishing with a 0-0 draw against The Saints. Now, Arsene Wenger’s lads are 5 points below the leaders Leicester.

Team News

Danny Welbeck has resumed full training for The Gunners. The English international forward hasn’t appeared on the pitch since April 2015.

Wilshere, Rosicky and Cazorla are sidelined for Arsenal. The Czech international midfielder won’t be ready to play until the end of March.

Junior Stanislas of Bournemouth has received a knee injury, so he won’t be available for the upcoming game against Arsenal.

The new Bournemouth signing, Benik Afobe, is in top form. The former Arsenal youth player has scored 3 goals in 4 games since he joined The Cherries.
